BUILT-IN VIBRATION ISOLATION MOUNT WITH STOPPER (Lightweight Typ

E-1124

Material
Plate:SPHC
Bolt:S20C
Surface treatment
Trivalent chromate plating
Feature
■Uses polyurethane foam material that can reduce vibrations even low frequency vibrations.
■Uses ether-based polyurethane that is resistant to water and ultraviolet light without quality deterioration unlike rubbers.
■Since adhesives are not used at the joints with the fittings, there is no need to worry about deterioration or peeling of joints.
■Equipped with a stopper mechanism for preventing the mounted equipment from falling over.

[Application]
■Isolating vibrations caused by vibrating equipment such as compressors, blowers, coolers, and electric motors.
■Removing vibrations transmitted to equipment that is sensitive to vibrations such as measurement instruments and microscopes.
※1 The resonant frequency is the calculated value when the maximum allowable load is applied.
※2 Applicable vibration frequency is vibration frequency which can be isolated. The estimated frequency is calculated such that the vibration in vertical direction can be decreased to 1/2 when maximum loading is applied.
※3 The vibration isolation material deformation is the calculated value when the maximum allowable load is applied.

Usage

Selection Guide

From the graph showing the relationship between natural frequency of each mount and mounted load, select the mount with the
natural frequency of 1/2 or less of the vibration frequency you want to isolate or remove.

[Selection example]
If you want to isolate the vibrations from a pump running at 1,800 rpm with a load of 5 kg on each mount.
The frequency of the vibrations produced by the pump is 1,800 rpm/60 seconds = 30 Hz.
Therefore, a mount with a natural frequency of 30 Hz/2 = 15 Hz or less should be selected.
In this case, BBS25D013 (natural frequency of 13 Hz when under a load of 5 kg) and BBS35D007 (natural frequency of 11 Hz when under a load of 5 kg) are suitable.

Application Examples

Aim:Isolate vibrations from a compressor
Method:Install 4 of the BBS35D013 built-in vibration isolation mounts with stopper between the compressor and the base.
Result:The vibrations transmitted from the compressor to the base were successfully reduced.
(The following graph shows the vibration acceleration in the vertical direction as measured at the top of the base.)

Precautions for Use

・ If the vibration frequency is 2 times the natural frequency of the mount or less, the vibrations will be amplified.
・ Use the mounts inside the load tolerance range. Furthermore, install such that the load is in the vertical/compressive direction. If the load is too light or too heavy, or a tensile load is applied, the mounted object will make contact with the stoppers and the eff ectiveness will be lost. Furthermore, if the mounted object creates large vibrations, the mounted object may make contact with the stopper and might not be able to be used.
・ The purpose of the stopper mechanism is to reduce the risk of falling over. It does not guarantee safety. No liability will be born for accidents or damages.
